Top Tips For Checking Your Vehicle Lights

One of the may reasons motorists fail their MOT is due to bulb failure. This includes:
  • Dipped Beam
  • Full Beam
  • Side & Rear Lights
  • Exterior Lights
  • Front and Rear Indicators
  • Stop & Tail Lights
  • Number Plate
  • Reversing lights
It is essential all of these lights are working correctly. If a headlight failure does occur, or is discovered to be not working correctly, you must replace the bulb as soon as possible. Bulbs should always be replaced in pairs. Replacing both sets of bulbs will provide consistent light output between the corresponding lamp units.

Finally, you must ensure the headlights and tail lights are cleaned to remove dirt, so that you get the best performance possible from the bulbs you have fitted.
